I know every so often you look for positive stories to share. So I have one, and thought to share.
I was up in Nyeri this weekend as I’ve lost an uncle and was visiting my aunt. I passed by Uchumi Karatina to pick up a few things.
As I was getting into the car, I dropped my purse outside the supermarket and didn’t realize it.
About 15 minutes later I got a phone call from someone saying the I had a package addressed to me at Uchumi Karatina.
I thought this strange, as I hadn’t noticed I didn’t have my purse. The gentleman then tells me he has my purse.
So I turn back and it’s nicely packed in a bag with a list of all the contents just to make sure I didn’t lose anything.
They saw my Uchumi card in the purse and checked their records, got my cell phone number and called me back.
I had cash in the purse, all my credit/debit cards, and a whole bunch of valuable information.
